Black Friday week has arrived in South Africa, with a host of retailers launching early deals in the lead-up to the big sale day this Friday, 25 November.

Several large retailers have been running Black Friday sales all month, promising bigger things to come on Black Friday itself. Even more retailers are looking to get ahead of the game by running week-long specials – some of which kicked off at the start of the weekend.

Several deals are kicking off in the middle of the week (23 November), including those from Absa, Makro and Superbalist – but others are starting from Monday (21 November), like Bidorbuy, Builder’s, Mr Price and OneDayOnly.

However, despite the sales leading up to the day, Black Friday itself is where it is at, with a huge number of retailers promising sales on the day.

Takealot’s Blue Dot Sale kicks off on the 25th, as does Game’s midnight Black Friday Sale.

Many of these specials will be running all week and all weekend, carrying on with Cyber Monday (28 November) and beyond.
